In addition to financial planning services, Tweedy Financial Services, LLC offers a wide range of Daily Money Management Services. These services are offered on an hourly fee basis.

Daily Money Managers (DMMs) provide personal business assistance to clients who have difficulty managing their personal monetary affairs. There are many factors that contribute to the need for a DMM.

Some of the typical clients of DMMs include senior citizens, busy professionals whose careers make it difficult for them to find time for their own paperwork, and people whose medical issues make it difficult for them to keep up with their finances.

The range of our Daily Money Management services includes:

• Bill Paying, including preparation of checks for clients to sign
• Balancing Checkbooks and Organizing Bank Records
• Preparing and Making Bank Deposits
• Organizing Tax Documents
• Negotiating with Creditors
• Examining Medical Insurance Papers and Verifying Proper Processing of Claims
• Providing General Organizational Assistance
• Offering Referrals to Legal Professionals
• Preparing Medicaid Applications

Perhaps you know someone who is having difficulty maintaining their checkbook, or having difficulty with medical insurance forms. We will work with that person and their family or attorney to assure that bills are paid in a timely manner and proper medical reimbursement is received from insurance companies.

We can also act as a personal representative in applying for Medicaid nursing home or at-home assistance by working with the applicant, their family and/or attorney to organize the necessary paperwork and apply to their local Department of Social Services for Medicaid assistance .
