Information Bank:

Seven Steps to Success

  1. Our first meeting, or Get Acquainted meeting is an opportunity for us to exchange information about your needs and objectives and to discuss which of our services are right for you. We will also provide an estimated fee quote at that time.
  1. When you decide to engage our services, you will sign a customer services agreement with us and we will give you a list of additional data or information that we will need to begin creating your financial plan. The lesser of one-half of the estimated total fee or $500 is due at that time.
  1. You then gather the data requested and send it to us before our next meeting. After receiving your information, we begin to develop your financial plan and schedule our second meeting.
  1. During our second meeting (or phone conference), we discuss and clarify the information you have provided and continue to refine and clarify your financial goals and objectives. This is a good time to bring up any additional questions or concerns you may have.
  1. We conclude our research and analysis and produce a final report, which includes recommendations and observations for your personal financial situation. We schedule a third meeting about two weeks after our second meeting.
  1. At our third meeting we present, review and discuss your personal financial plan. We provide you with a written summary of our observations along with specific recommendations. Full payment of the balance of the actual fees incurred is due at the conclusion of this meeting.
  1. Proper implementation is essential to reaching your financial goals. Whether you implement and monitor the plan yourself, or engage Tweedy Financial Services, LLC to provide some or all of these services for you, we urge prompt action. Going forward, we recommend periodic meetings to make sure that your plan is still on track for your current goals.
